Why hello fellow WIAW-ers! It definitely has been a while. (Yes, two whole weeks is a century in blog years!) Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been thoroughly enjoying summer. All years prior I was super employed and tied down to more responsibility than the POTUS. It truly feels like I’m exercising my true rights to freedom now. How fitting, on the 4th and all!
This week I’m back in the game! I’ve been trying to be mindful of healthy snacks, so here goes…
Grilled Sweet Potato, Tomato, & Mushrooms with Mrs. Dash seasoning
Edamame Hummus…It photographs surprisingly well, no?
Coconut Flour Pancakes w/Black Cherry Chobani
Oatmeal topped with walnuts, flax, raspberries, & blackberries (for my mother who just began Weight Watchers!)

I am a sucker for hodgepodges, so this was an obvious winner! Eat the rainbow, right? Salad consisted of brown rice pasta, olives, cheddar, Applegate Farms nitrate free bacon, grilled 100% organic, vegetarian fed chicken, mixed greens. The second picture was a slight variation with carrots from a local farmer’s market, brown rice pasta, cheddar, on a bed of romaine.

Starbucks Iced Vanilla Coffee with a flavor shot of Toffee Nut…takes my chocolate cravings right away!
The makings of my Peanut Butter & Chocolate Puffin Protein Shake that has been a breakfast favorite of mine lately…milk, flax seed, Sun Warrior Chocolate protein powder, almonds/walnuts, banana, and obviously PB/Choc Puffins!
This has made an appearance thrice on the blog already, it’s too good not to share yet again…Sauvignon Blanc w/Pom/lime juice from Trader Joe’s (from my foodie pen pals box this month)
Romaine the size of my head from the local farmer’s market…and chicken lettuce wraps with cilantro to accompany!
