-Things To Try Thursdays- Laurel Hill Pumpkin Seed Tortilla Crisps

Do you ever discover a snack food or something new in general and then become completely obsessed? It’s kind of like the proverbial lightning bolt striking the man when he sets eyes on “his” woman (of the night) for the first time.

This happens to me weekly, sometimes almost daily. This week’s lightning bolt: Laurel Hill Pumpkin Seed Tortilla Crisps. You know those giant displays in Whole Foods (or any store) that just so happen to be placed so perfectly you cannot ignore them? Like munchkins in the office break room, you cannot pass it by without having one. This is very similar to what I experience on a daily.

Who thinks to place pumpkin with chips? It’s genius! I had come back from yoga in Times Sqaure (recap will be up either late tonight or tomorrow!) and was craving everything under the sun. I had picked up a salad with some chicken salad and a mini tuna salad sandwich, but they weren’t going to cut it. I wanted a crunch and a carb. So naturally chips were my target.

These babies were sitting nestled all cozy in a 10 foot display. There also were multi grain and a sea salt lime flavor, but I’m pretty sure these take the cake!

I dipped a few into the tuna salad/chicken salad and it was marvelous! You only need a few of these as they are pretty filling (and salty). The blend of pumpkin and salt is magical. They aren’t too bad for you either!

Nutrition Facts:

Since I don’t have a Whole Foods around me, I’ll just have to live sparingly. If I did have a Whole Foods around me, I’d probably be living on the street as I act like Johnny Rockefeller in that place! No holds bar!

What’s your favorite or current snack? Do you have obsessions/phases like I do?

Peace, love, and pumpkin chips!

  1. These intrigue me! When I find something I like, I usually go hard or go home on it too. For awhile, it was dates. Then it was Wasa crackers (like a bajillion a day … not good). Then carrot sticks. Now … it’s the basket of leftover birthday candy on my desk. THAT needs to stop, like, yesterday 😉

oooo love wasa crackers!!! I’m always like oh these are not harmful to my diet…and then about a pack later I really begin to rethink that statement. birthday candy is always good!! HAPPY BELATED BTW! Love dates too. I went on a date-ball rant a few months ago and am now BEYOND sick of them.
